They suited me mate and like I've said I've never considered myself a coursing man tbh though most of the lurchers I've owned in my lifetime have been able to catch hare's obviously not in the numbers some of these coursing saluki hybrids have and years ago i had a decent bitch bred down from the two dogs in my profile pic to a fx saluki greyhound I owned out of Ginger French's Luke that took a variety of edible quarry and killed 3 out of 3 on the land around six mile bottom one morning on a day out with some London lads at the beginning of February though tbh after that day and a few more after I fell out with daytime coursing that was never on permission unless local as leaving dead hare's on the land never sat well with me as the risk being caught with them secured a conviction that happened once before and that same morning we got a tug from the police after leaving a cafe having had something to eat. Me and a mate started doing more on the deer and lamping and the same dog proved her worth on roe deer and took the odd fallow hind. I planned to breed from her using a dog out of the beani swoop litter though the lad who had him turned me down so I never bred from her.
