A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

Your spot on charts yous north east men know the script yous have ruled and dominated the coursing game for long enough

I don’t know about “ruling and dominating” ,  LOL !, but I’m old enough to to remember racing whippets with some of the top coursing mens dads !

You’ll know that running hares up here around the borders on the fells and uplands is a completely different game to running on the fens and flatlands.

Running the white hares on the frozen heather and scree is different again !

It’s great to get about and try different scenarios, I have a wry smile when people say their hares/rabbits/deer are the best.

Cheers

your to modest mate it's in black and white the top dogs came and were bred from that area

So  it was your knowledge passed onto their dads that got the ball rolling ? lol

You've been tutoring mc for long enough if only he just listened lol.

spot on pal id expect a good dog to be able to do it on all land you described.

Just the opposite mate !

I was 13 when I got my first whippet and listening to the old timers was where I got my grounding in running dogs.

Im a great believer in some of the old sayings;

”Sometimes it’s best to stay silent and appear ignorant , than to speak and remove all doubt”;

”A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing”;

There’s lads on here that have been kind enough to invite me onto their permission, and they will tell you the first thing I say is “if there’s something I’m doing wrong , tell me, if there’s something I should be doing, tell me”.

Im never to old to learn !

Cheers.

No different from national football teams ect they all came from somewhere at the start then made into that nationality you get the drift ??

nuttals came from down south as his starting base then created top of the shop northern dogs.

the southerners had the ingredients to the recipe northern men bought the ingredients cooked the meal and then served it........ as the French would say va va voom !!
