Jobs fecked rabbit wise locally and going off local facebook pages theyre grassing people up left right and centre out walking lurchers so i dont miss having a runner. I was dogless for a few months after getting my old terrier pts but it was hard so got a little cocker pup so I can still get out for a mooch. It's not all about catching to me it's getting out. He's retrieving and working cover so might see about getting out on some smaller shoots beating in future too.

Lurcher lads seem 2 move over 2 gun dogs as they get older I've noticed spaniels turn up all of a sudden but once the labarador appear, it's game over

Watched a video the other day, 3 runners and a beagle on a fox, very excited bloke filming it, screaming and shouting, when he got the dogs off it, it got up and ran again, Very sad state of affairs, I would have done the walk of shame Lol, aside from the beagle perhaps, All 3 of them runners should have been able to deal with it on there own, Obviously as green as grass.

Very nearly ended up with a lab but couldn't face being one of them people you see walking a prematurely knucking fackered lab plodding behind them so went for the livelier option. Regretted a few times since though the little shit.

My brother got a lab nice enough bitch he made a big point of it be kc reg an the price he paid for if sort of tried giving it the big money man my dogs better than yours crack I’ve learned to smile and agree……. The things cost him a fortune turning out the dogs diabetic so has to have jabs for it regularly and special food my dad said to him a couple of weeks ago this dog can’t see properly it’s head eye coordination ant right if your holding a treat one of her special biscuits an Chuck it to her she can’t see it coming so his her on the head he said get her to the vets they said it’s cataracts so he then went to a k9 eye specialist 5k a eye my brother was quoted…
