we've been trying to fight for our country for some years but not in the way the people at the top want, now they want the people at the bottom to fight to protect what the people at the top have😠

Why would Russia invade us? Because our elites keep telling you they might?  The same elites that told all those young men that they were giving up their lives for 'freedom and democracy'? O

Quite easy, not a dinghies chance in a storm, the enemy is within, the left, weirdos, royals, just about everything wrong with society today, nahhh ill leave it to the anarchists, protestors and the r

I get it , I really do.

I believe the current vogue term is “soft invasion” to describe the influx of what we’re once referred to as fighting age males from the eastern aspects of this world . I get it , the fears of cultural shift, the apologists , the hierarchy with a disconnect from the average working class man in the street . All to be brought into the light of day and shown for what they are . Bravo to that .

You’re a very intelligent man , surely your also seeing the folly of the “are we the baddies ?” Rising campaign across the SM platforms ?

Putin isn’t a good man , he isn’t a leader that we would know or recognise. He’s as alien to our culture and beliefs as you can get .

his army isn’t some force of Menshavik resurgents , they are the flotsam and jetsam of Russian society . Watch the documentaries on vice tv , where a reporter tracks the involvement of a Russian soldier into Belarus / Chechnya . Iook at the soldier , that’s who the army consists of . Poorly equipped , ill disciplined citizen soldiers . That’s what’s massing at the door to Europe . Can you imagine a few hundred thousand of him flowing into the right hand side of our continent ?

We need to keep that bear from the door , it’s not here to steal our porridge . It’s there to destroy the whole f***ing house .

I totally get the view from both point of views mate I’m not blinkered into one way of thinking, the way it stands right this very minute we are onto a lose lose situation invaded and then ruled by Muslims or invaded and ruled by Russians as it stands I’d take my chance with the latter and that’s not even mentioning getting f****d over good and proper from our own people in power that rule the country what chance do we have ?

if the military had a backbone and the top boys weren’t deep in corruption like the rest of them they would be stepping in and over ruling this government and putting  the uk  into martial law and protecting our borders and new elections with people more suited and qualified to running country …” in an ideal world “

Apologies if you’re attempting to think it’s an intentional mis interpretation . Thats not my effort  , more a broad brush gleaning of your stance and opinion.

looking through my optics , it seems that your main drive is against the class driven system for university places at more reknowned places of education .

Would you not say that with looking at those stats , that the lived experience of university applicants would play more of a role , than just pure marks ?

as in what’s the potential at reach for a graduate at Cambridge, what will they do after their degree ? Ho would them having Oxford on their resume benefit the university post education ?

the reliance of stats and figures removes imho the most important aspect , the human factor of the subject recorded

Thanks for a civilised answer.

Let me refute some of that .

I most certainly do not think myself above anyone, you on the other hand, appear to have a chip on your shoulder evidenced by your bitterness towards others you think of as being in a different class.

I don’t think I’ve ever described myself as a mechanic, I may have, but I’m a qualified engineer with qualifications in mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic disciplines. But what does my profession have to do with who I meet and converse with ?

As for the rest of your diatribe, where did I accuse you of anything ? I said PEOPLE I HAVE MET WHO HATE BRITAIN, as far as I’m aware I’ve never met you.

Perhaps I’ve hit a nerve ?

Cheers.

Sorry if I unintentionally downgraded you. I thought you described yourself as a diesel mechanic. Perhaps a senior moment. I genuinely apologise if I have pissed you off.

You called me a fifth columnist. I'm entitled to be pissed at that.I don't hate Britain. I moan about its  present state. As you do.! Long and hard.

I've never hidden my contempt for the British class system. Doors are closed on people simply because of their accent or former school. And the converse is true.

national guard activated in Texas  and other states sending their National guards to the border  as well going against the fake bidens orders and once it hits civil war the army will then step in because in their constitution their army has more power than any sitting president and the constitution was designed for the people

( problem is the deep state are also integrated into the military complex )

But what people don’t grasp is the swamp isn’t just in America the deep state is rooted world wide that’s what he means by draining the swamp …. The Americans won the battle of independence but lost the war as the uk royal family still Owned America

Historically speaking “service” spoke to something higher than yourself, in this instance the “nation”……it’s why people felt part of and connected to the land beneath their feet.

As we have diluted and destroyed and done away with that to reach the more socialist model of Britain we see today so you see generations (as clearly seen in this thread) who don’t feel invested in the nation because the nation has been destroyed.

What wrong with teaching kids confidence ?…..and as a former school governor you could have changed the “teaching kids to shut up and be quiet” bit if you had wanted too.

I don’t think they teach them “arrogance, entitlement, privilege” at all, that’s utter baloney !

Again, if you are saying state schools teach “a lack of self esteem” you could have done something about that.

I don’t think they do, I think they offer equality of opportunity which kids (and their family’s by supporting them) will either grasp or not.
What left wing principals have done for a stone cold fact is make it almost impossible to get rid of teachers who are failing kids badly in the state system, congratulations !

What various governments have done is mire schools and SLTs down in ludicrous regulation and box ticking, detracting from the business of actually teaching kids.

In some cases in the more radical left wing schools, it’s more about promoting gay, black, transsexual agendas than anything else.

No such nonsense in private or faith schools.

Politicians are not the best in class at Oxford or Cambridge, they ain’t even the third best…..those people are too busy doing proper jobs.

Politicians are mostly social climbers or head case ex “activists” with some shite degree from Durham and a history of student Union rabble rousing.

There are of course notable exceptions but it’s a fact that parliament comes from a range of social backgrounds, the thing they share is an ambition to land a place at the feast !

Has it occurred to you that she may just have not been as good in her interview as others ?
You were one of her school governors, you should all have made sure those kids were better prepared !

It’s a guess but I’d say as a ratio, officers are more likely to be killed ?

No, they are frozen out because they don’t have the skills or the language or the brains or the qualifications….multiple choice, pick some.

The country hasn’t only existed for 13 years, both party’s got us to this point……people like Skinner and Corbyn and Beven have all been part of this slow decline !

Your propositions are childish and inane mate, nobody is holding you or anyone else back !
Have you considered becoming a Liverpool supporter ? Lol

Wilf, thanks for the lengthy critique. Full of insults as usual. Do I live in your head rent free? At one time we had a great cyber relationship. We'd have a go at each others point of view, agreed on a lot and had a laugh.

But you've come back a lot angrier and nastier than you were.

I'll address some of your points. Not all of them. I've got a life outside THL.

Bevan has saved millions of lives by introducing the NHS. Corbyn and Skinner ...clowns. I don't vote Labour.

A hidden curriculum is what happens in a classroom without necessarily anybody intending it to happen. It's not formally taught.

I was one voice on a school board. I was not Education Secretary for 20 years. We did introduce a successful debating society to try and give state kids more confidence and also mock university interviews so that they were familiar with being grilled at interview.

We did introduce a free breakfast service courtesy of donations thankfully received from local businesses. I am still involved with that. We did also end the two colour free dinner ticket/ bought ticket practice.  Horrible if you've ever experienced it.

We did also remove junk food vending machines from the school and cleaned up the school dinners so that they were healthier. Nanny state to some, common sense to me.

Your Liverpool jibe made me laugh. I love Liverpool supporters. Did you see them genuinely applaud the goal the opposition scored yesterday. I thought that was class. I thought that had died out.

Have you ever thought about becoming a West Ham supporter? You do nothing but criticise them. You wouldn't be welcome anyway. You'd be throwing bananas and making monkey chants.

There's nobody more self pitying than you. Poor Wilf driven from his home by blacks, living an angry bitter life away from his homeland. Smell the coffee mate, you have a great life. Away from all the shit of city life and the irritation of trying to run a business where your government seems to hate you. I've been there too.

Finally a plea, drop the constant drumbeat of black and third world bitterness. It permeates the whole forum. One member said during your absence that the forum was much improved while you were away. I actually disagreed and said your posts were often thoughtful and interesting. But I'm beginning to change my mind.

You go on about rinsing all Arabs, killing  muslim children and racial purity. There are members on here who must find that offensive.

You and Stiif also harass individual members. Big Max was driven mad by your piss taking of his wife and kid. Low mate. Katchum was another good member who left because of you. Another good cyber mate of mine left because of a debate as to whether his half Christian half Muslim were 'clean'. f****n our of order, I felt for him.

Another victim of you pair was IWW who was in a bad place after losing his wife. When he said he would love a pup you described him as a freeloader or something and Stiff took exception to him being naked in his own flat. Insinuating  he wax a sex offender. He agreed to leave off him when I asked him to. I note that your latest victim is Mchull, you attack him in tandem.

People come on here for enjoyment not to be stressed out.

Oh and Prince Andrew is a paedophile. The age of consent in Florida is 18. Doesn't matter if you claim you didn't know your victim was underage or you didn't know the law.

There was also the matter of being trafficked, the tremendous disparity in ages and status of him and his victim.

" Not really  a paedophile ". Behave. You've said yourself 16 is too young to be legally buggered. 17 is too young to be raped too, as she was.

I've never hidden my contempt for the British class system. Doors are closed on people simply because of their accent or former school. And the converse is true.

Let’s clear up this “diesel mechanic “ thing.

In a post on another thread I said how I left school and was given an apprenticeship with an engineering firm as a diesel mechanic but was was lucky enough to have a boss who saw something in me and pushed my career in a different direction with me ending up with qualifications in engineering and all three jobs I’ve had before retiring were in engineers positions, including my final job as an engineering supervisor for one of the worlds largest airlines were I worked for over twenty years.

I also was employed by Lockheed Aircraft and seconded to the Royal Saudi Airforce as an Engineering Instructor/Specialist, and by Phoenix Electrical , a subsidiary of Rio Tinto Zinc as a site/ shift engineer at one of their facilities in Saudi Arabia.

So, if anyone wants to call me a diesel mechanic, that’s fine, I’ve known some extremely good ones, but my C.V. says differently.

As for accusing you of anything , I once again refer you to what I ACTUALLY said ; “THE PEOPLE I HAVE MET WHO HATE BRITAIN……..”.

Again, as far as I’m aware, I have never met you.

Cheers.
