I’m actually proud of my carbon footprint 20 year old 3.0 litre diesel, when I pop into the services at the Oxford turn off on the M40, and see the great big line of Tesla’s and the like sitting there

We have been ripped off big time with this electric car dream it’s going to die a certain death. I’d never have one, gay, feminine, typical divs car. If you had an emergency call for a serious family

Would I buy one no. Not practical for me personally. If I lived in a low emissions zone and had to pay ulez I would lease and off load it after the lease term let someone else deal with the depreciation

That's why there's loads on the market and relatively cheap. When you consider that you can get a full charge for around £6 you'd be crazy not to consider when in need of a new motor.

I wouldn't expect you to grasp modern tech, Steptoe. Heard you moved in to a canoe because you were struggling with the light switches?

I’ve grasped like 98.9 % of the global population that there ain’t no future in electric cars and the only person running up the gang plank of the sinking ship is you unless you are just telling another little porky to get folk chatting to you

Well, that's why you get a home charger isn't it? I'm not worried about the once or twice a year journey where I will need to use a charger at a petrol station.

Just sold the G-Wagon for a profit, decided to go down the Lambo route. Got a chap coming tomorrow to install an extension cord so I can charge it in the garden.
