Rashford hasn't been any Were near the form he had last season I wonder why he suddenly doesnt look interested and was he really injured after the city game when he was partying the same night or has ten haig punished him for the party and dropped him  and I wonder how many players back sancho side in his disagreement with the manager and hasnt it gone on long enough now

Hammers playing well, does me when I see this and then see some of the shockers….but can’t knock them so far, it’s good.

@Blackmag You chucked that stat at me the other day mate, they just chucked out another on the telly here…..it took Moyes 1000 games to win anything ! Lol

Newcastle looked leggy and tired tonight but I take nothing away from Bournemouth they played well and deserved the win unlike us last night that was rough on rovers a draw would of been a fair result but 3 points all the better and I will take that  but what a good game 2 sides committed with challenges going in and a ref that allowed a game to flow knowing it's a derby I thought he did a very good job and none of that stupid var nonsense either

Bournemouth seen the opportunity to get some points and grasped it. Very well played all over the pitch. No complaints from a Newcastle fan with the result or our lads who played or the ref.

A honest assessment east coast not just tonight but the other night as well joe Linton missed good chances to score that could of put you on the front foot but what a job Eddie Howe doing a good young coach

I think Joeliton has played out of his skin for 2 seasons and is just simply tired. It is catching up with a few of them. But again, no complaints, only to be expected.

I'm loathe to make excuses for Newcastle, but with players like Botman, Burn, Tonali, Bruno, Isak, Wilson, all automatic first team choices, missing then losing Miggy early on, there's no way I could see us beating Bournemouth.

All teams go through injury crisis, and it's our turn at the moment.

Ive argued with my nephew, a mad Toon fan, that Wilson is a liability, yes, he scores when he's fit, but he's too injury prone to depend on.

We need an elite striker, first and foremost, and a top class centre half at the least in the next transfer window.

This wouldn't be a problem given the riches of the owners, except for the little fact of Financial Fair Play !

So, we will just have to carry on building the financial resources within the rules, and even though we are far ahead of what anyone envisioned, it will take another season or two before we can really compete with the Premier "elite".

I'm enjoying the ride and am sure it will only get better.

I wouldn't have any Man U player , we aim to be better than our peers, not take their cast offs..

Seriously though, I can see the "elite" teams making overtures to Howe, but I hope he is in for the long run with Newcastle with the backing of the owners and the board. He has the backing of the fans, but we all know how fickle fans can be !

We think it's a long term project, even though we would like instant results, we will just enjoy the roller coaster ride , after all, it's far better than we've had under the Ashley/Bruce regime.

chartpolski, calling Wilson a liability is bit disrespectful. If he did not have injury problems Newcastle could never have bought him for £20M. If he had not came to Newcastle I doubt that the club would have hung on in the EPL and possibly would not have been bought by the new owners. I understand what your saying but, when it comes to actually winning something in my life, Wilson could prove to have been a more important number 9 than Shearer. And he will continue to contribute, I would not swap him for anyone, injury prone or not.

We need a new stadium, a new academy, a new owner, a new team and a new manager. Apart from that we are doing well.

Incredibly, we are only 6 points behind the leaders. It's a weird season. Our strike force of Rashford, Martial, Antony,Garnacho and Hoylund have managed one league goal  between them.
