Kids been off with there dad this weekend so I’ve had a chance to get the gear sorted new lines untangle knots fresh lures and a deadbeat rod for the dead roach I picked up in the hope of a zander

Just back for a quick half hour with the kids and jigs little girls first perch on her new pink rod and reel combo had about half a dozen between us

My lad has always hated fishing as I took him to often when he was young.... totally bored him with it. Until this summer holidays when he's just switched on to it and become obsessed. Fished almost every day of the holidays. 

He's been suspended from school for fighting last week so he fished every day last week as well

He gave some lad a black eye so I told him I'd take him this weekend as a reward.....he chose fly fishing.
