Took a friend fishing on the farm pond. 

Rather embarrassingingly l insisted he have the tench hotspot ,then caught three tench myself from the swim next door.

He was happy enough with 20 or so roach and rudd though.

Chatted to these mexican fishermen after Halibut on Santa Monica pier but the sea lions were swimming just over below them after free fish.

Bloody nightmare this fat git incepted a bass on way in one day. Stripped my line off and surfaced with my fish. Hope he choked lol

Had family tip up from Portrush yesterday,so didn't make the Gower...fished ogmore deeps instead with the youngest,had him baiting up,casting and reeling his own fish in,was a cracking few hrs had a few Smuts,doggies and lost a cracking Big Huss

Not long back from a weekend away and the grandkids are back from school little man grabs his rod and is sat outside the kitchen hatch dangling a bit of bread while I’m cooking my tea little shout and he’s away

3-10gm rod, 1000 reel, 0.13 braid, with mono leader or trace with tiable wire 10lb , and then a selection of soft plastic lures on a jighead hook, straight retrieve or bounced around the bottom.
