The DT250E from 1977 is here already, The DT50M is on its way over from the States. Wrong seat. wrong side panel (should be an heatshield) wrong exhaust and god knows what else. all nearly impossible to find. i must be a glutton for punishment Lol. Really cool bikes I had a dt50mx that was a fun little bike had a top speed of about 45mph down hill but what freedom it gave me to get about was the best part

paulus 26 Posted Saturday at 18:28 Author Report Share Posted Saturday at 18:28 This little Beta that i thought would be a couple of day job after the parts came back from powder coat has been nothing but a pain in the arse, fed up with the pile of cheap crap but i have another one to do yet as there for the grandkids Christmas box. Everything you buy for them has to be modified to fit. Plastics are unobtainium anywhere for the year and model. I am even at the point now of buying a 3D printer just to make some for them,

I am even at the point now of buying a 3D printer just to make some for them, Man that does look cool though you do a good job. I get what you mean about some stuff being unobtainable or having to be modified to fit nice. I’m having trouble trying to get a linkage knuckle part no 1306 for a kx125 2003 because the 2003 was the cross over mutant year that none of the pre or after 2003 fit this bike there seems to be no used ones or nos parts available the one on the bikes proper buggered I don’t fancy welding it an getting it machined because I think it’ll weaken the part I’m actually thinking of getting a machinist to design make me some billet items with billet pull rods in pro circuit length specs only problem I’ve got is they won’t just do one or two it’ll have to be 5-10 sets that’ll probably cost £1500-2 up. If you ever get a 3d printer and want to make any parts for Jo public I’ve got a couple of parts I would like making ie for 2003 kx125/250 rear brake line guides and front brake line guides these are only available in white but go a disgusting yellow colour and look rubbish on custom bikes they would look far better in black
