The Iconic Hiro Onoda what a sign of the people we once were as a world

Recommended Posts

Let's not forget the atrocities the ginger snaps committed !

And before you tell me we were just as bad, mC, we dropped the two big ones on them because they vowed never to surrender........two nukes quickly made them change their minds.

Personally I wouldn't have stopped dropping them until Japan was a nuclear waste land, then I would have done the same to Germany.

If nothing else, it would have served as a warning to any other fuckers that thought they could f**k with us !

Just my opinion, of course ?

Cheers.

What a stupid jap Cnut ………

I almost feel pity for the young of today who will grow up thinking that the requirement for being an action star is to  wear spandex or being imbued with super powers .    they will never expe

did he not face any consequences for the locals they killed

No mate, Marcos (the father of the guy who has just been voted in as president) couldn't give a f**k about his own people, wanted to cosy up to the Japanese, get some investment and trade deals, so pardoned him, there's a pic somewhere of them together, Marcos giving him his samurai sword back or accepting it from him I can't remember which.

Nakamura surrendered in Indonesia, he was taiwanese/Japanese, wasn't considered pure Japanese so of less importance therefore didn't receive the publicity Onoda did.

I don't see why he's given a free pass after killing 30 non combatants.

There was a debate on here about UK squaddies killing non combatants which split opinion.

This guy was a f****n serial killer.

I find it difficult to admire or sympathise with him.

The same Japanese mindset led to UK troops amongst others to be starved and sadistically tortured sometimes for years on end. Not something to hold up as a beacon of honour.

Must have been severely traumatised or a total whacko. Surely after decades of not seeing the enemy you’d either think, maybe these farmers are right and the war is over…, or I’m not even in this fight, might as well get to fcuk out of here and see where all the action is. Hardly serving your country, hiding in the woods for 30 years.

Nakamura, because he wasn't considered Japanese received 227 dollars for playing hide-and-seek for 30 years, was f****d off back to Taiwan and died five years later, no gold watch for him.

I quite fancy visiting Japan.

The countryside is stunning, rural villages are empty and over run with deer and game. They want more hunting people there. They have hounds and working dogs as well. Don't let blacks in.

Plenty jobs for English teachers and they would rather you not speak Japanese if you go there teaching. Tried to convince my lads to go when they are older

I knew an English girl, blonde blue-eyed, who was getting £70 a blow-job in roppongi 30 odd years ago working in hostess bars.

I also knew a guy from Bristol, saved 40 grand sterling teaching English there, had Japanese girls slobbering all over him.
