I was a panther and warrior DMI and gunnery instructor, range qualified the list is endless. Then as you move up the ranks you have the constant paperwork that’s needed to look after your troops, book rations plan a exercises deal with the endless admin that a platoon of blokes need. Then you can specialise which means learning a whole new job.
