beddy collie greyhound mongrely hybrid things is what I use if your not needing a specialist type dog for set job this cross has the jobs in hand 👍🏽

Its a funny one. Ive nee in work, outside, all day. Getting rained on and wind blowing on my face. Finished the day knackered, heading home and all I want to do is go to bed and sleep!

Now I've got home and the wind is blowing etc all I can think about is heading out with the dog. Problem is can't go out round here till midnight!

Have a couple of hours kip and go for a mooch, can always have an early night tomorrow.

Thats what I do mate, and will probably do same tomorrow etc etc. Usual routine is home, sleep, get up midnight go out, few hours when I come back and back to work!

Interesting reading this - see folk giving interesting opinions learnt from experience, some having a laugh and little wind up, and some proving they dont know shit from toothpaste.

As usual.

Im not a novice worked with dogs for most of my life. I should imagine i might get on with a bit of Bull. How about bull cross Collie then grehound cross collie cross whippet.

If you've not owned a lurcher then you're a novice, better to accept it now lol. I've owned two lurchers , over ten years and class myself as a amateur /novice. I've grown up with dogs and been around them all my life. You might land lucky and get something that's got the right temperament to suit you, or pick the right pup, or have a pup with enough prey drive, or pick something that's hanging off the back of a horse at 10 months old, there's not much point in saying five breeds and hoping it has a pinch of all the good attributes and none of the bad you might have six in the mix it looks like one acts like the other and has no trace of the other four..... but enjoy it , good luck finding the pup 👍

Well I only have one dog at a time. This is the first Bitch I have had and I like them if she is typical. Like I said earlier I have always fancied a Lurcher but it has to be a good companion Dog as well. Thats a cracking looking dog in the pic. Whats the breeding?

That’s why I went back to a halfx, they was best companion dogs for me as a youngster, I loved having a collie x greyhound about an after a few years of having other crosses I knew I wanted summat biddable but still able to do the few pest control jobs I need done, sure it was 2 years ago yesterday I was in cork collecting this kelpie/greyhound, still real glad I did, this bitch has been great for all I want 👍
