I think most of it is a load of bollocks, unless you're deficient of something you likely get enough in your diet.

Vitamin C with Zinc is best for boosting your immune system. In general I've found magnesium really helpful for generally having a bit more energy and sleeping better, which of course has a positive e

Well for joints a bit of cod liver oil, gets you omega 3 too. Hydration is often overlooked for immunity and joints ?

On a training course at work today and us over 40's got offered a prostate blood test. Just got the results now, passed with flying colours, bittersweet really as I fancied a thorough examination, part and parcel of being a machine I suppose.

Why is fibre important? https://share.google/YW1NN7g6f8yADsESD

Fibre ferments in the gut causing bloating an gas,we can get short chain fatty acids from other foods that won't cause these issues.

Also they say it reduces glucose in the blood, another way to do that without fibre would be to stop eating so much sugar lol

Do we really need to eat food that we can't digest?

Here's a question for you,why hasn't our bodies evolved so we can digest fibre?

Eating fibre wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so contaminated, fruits grains etc are heavily sprayed with all sorts of nasty shit, back in the day when they weren't so much chemicals it would of been gran to eat,but these days it would be best to get short chain fatty acids from butter cheese an probiotics from natural yoghurt.

Why would it when the body is getting great benefits from it as it is? The whole reason it's good for us is because we don't digest it.

But we would get even more nutrients out of it if we could digest it would we not?as I said we can get short chain fatty acids from other foods that we can digest,so it would benefit us greatly if we could digest fibre making  the nutrients more bioavalable?

Again, it's not about the nutrients, it's about the benefits it brings from it passing through your system.

Fermentation creates short chain fatty acids,we can get them from butter an yoghurt to feed the good gut bacteria without the bloating an gas mate.

What other benefits apart from sofa can fibre give us?
