Front left leg, inside toe. Done because of a sharp turn at high speed. Obviously lots of rest needed but just wandered if anyone knew of any home remedies? Sick of massive vets bills. Thanks. Buy penny Taylor book ,running dog maintenance, its a good one to have and covers most injuries. 1 Quote Link to post
joe ox 2,547
Ffs what's wrong with people on here, get off your high horses! Fcuk the vets a decent greyhound bone man knows more about running dog injuries than most hamster vets. If it's calloused it will heal by itself. 6 weeks rest lead exercise only. Bone radiol twice a day for a week and use a magbox if u have one. Edited September 13, 2021 by joe ox 5 1 Quote Link to post

mush 204
It's like when the vet stitches a rip they don't tell you most time it pulls apart again, long as they get your money . Quote Link to post

Most vets will screw you these days and most know nothing about a running dogs feet. If you get over to the midlands I would contact Rob Meeks, hes a brilliant bone man, otherwise find another by contacting your nearest Greyhound kennels. Good luck. 1 Quote Link to post
SheepChaser 8,082
For a rare time I agree with joe how many folk actually rate vets ? Most the time I take a dog they do f**k all but charge me money and tell me stuff I already know. 2 Quote Link to post
