I know everything is relative but it’s just f***ing vulgar in reality isn’t it mate…..like it wouldn’t matter how much money I had, I just could not bring myself to buy that, you’d just spend a couple of grand on something nice and give the rest away if you had anything about you and the means to spend half a million quid on a bed !……id feel ashamed doing anything else.

Luckily I will never be in that position, I’ve been rich, I’ve been poor and I’ve been somewhere in between and I’ve always been the same f***ing idiot off the plot in south London and I’m totally cool with that…..some things have a value and some thing have a price, I’m happy living with that attitude.

Jmho, but it’s still vulgar when a couple of grand does the job and there’s a food bank somewhere that 200,000 would be life changing !

In reality, it’s obscene….

It’s life though in reality, people work hard (or inherit wealth)they buy nice things, people born into poverty and never escape it,or fall through the cracks, get nowt, just how it is.That bed is in Harrods,I would put money on the beds of that price they sell aren’t bought by Brits.

I sat on a bed once,I had been doing something so wasn't wearing decent clothes, the mattress was incredibly comfy,so much so I even gave it a little ass bounce, the salesman did a sharp intake of breath......

In the past I have slept on the side of a road,on coconut matting on a bamboo floor in a jungle hut and as a kid used coats as blankets at night I was so cold so I really don't know mate (if you want to send me a few quid feel free).Everything has a value to someone.

I slept under coats and army blankets until I left school and moved out 😄. It seems like a very long time ago now.

My kids can't comprehend that I lived in a house with only one coal fire , and windows that used to freeze on the inside 😄. They've got no concept of the gas being cut off because the bill wasn't paid , and living on cold food.

It's character building 😄.
