Busy is an understatement at the minute 

Slab prep underway, meet steelfixers in the morning to start raft slab steel, slab in on 8th, frame up later that week

 

3000m2 barred out (boys smashed it in a week) craned up last Tuesday, 600m2 down in 2 days

10'000m2 flat roof, pricing for a good customer, all solar panels off, new insulation and single ply.. starts next April 

Start a new showroom fit out for an old mate on Friday, got 2 weeks to get stud walls, boarded, jointed, suspended ceiling, 3 new openings through concrete block walls laid on the flat, fire escape door..

900m2 of composite walls to lay next week.

3 roof reports for regulars (keeps the warranties, easy money tbf)

 

Im out of here on the 16th Dec, so if it ain't all done..then I turn the phone off and throw the lap top in the sea

Just bagging up wheat today and feeding the flying chickens, nobody at the farm today, they are all out shooting, so I stopped at the house to see how the old boy was, now he’s got dementia so I get him to come and give me “ a hand “ to keep him busy and he can tell me his stories from when he was a lad, first time today he couldn’t remember my name, it really put a lump in my throat, it’s so sad to watch him deteriorate, and I was thinking that when he’s gone all of the stories he has told me over the last 25 years will be gone as well, just very sad

Least you're getting him out mate, I struggle with names sometimes they just escape us but yep just popped my mum's phone down to her after reminding her twice to take it. Seen a few with full blown dementia, had an ex who's grandmother would presume I was the gardener one day and her granddaughter's husband the next.

Decorating it lol. Been on it since Monday. It's done. Doors, Door frames & skirts glossed. The two bedroomrooms painted roofs & walls. Bathroom, living & kitchen area plus a Featured wall papered.
