Some disagree using the logic that kills are more difficult to achieve than with a larger bore but once proficient with a .410 using a 12 bore is a piece of piss. I know a chap who got into shooting late in life and has money to burn. Bought a megga expensive shotgun and paid for lessons. He's the worst shot that I've ever seen, even feel sorry for him at times. Often think that if he had been taught to shoot using a .410 on ferreted rabbits he would not be as bad as he is. Totally agree great little guns to start with when I’m out shooting my rimfire I sometimes take my little folding .410 out for the close ones I’ve had them so close sometimes the scope won’t focus, also walking a hedgerow perfect for the low pigeon coming from the other side. Nothing wrong with a .22 rimfire. Having one dressed up in stupid clothes can also inspire the younger intake Edited 4 hours ago by eastcoast The rifle being dressed in stupid clothes, no me.
