Some disagree using the logic that kills are more difficult to achieve than with a larger bore but once proficient with a .410 using a 12 bore is a piece of piss. I know a chap who got into shooting late in life and has money to burn. Bought a megga expensive shotgun and paid for lessons. He's the worst shot that I've ever seen, even feel sorry for him at times. Often think that if he had been taught to shoot using a .410 on ferreted rabbits he would not be as bad as he is. Totally agree great little guns to start with when I’m out shooting my rimfire I sometimes take my little folding .410 out for the close ones I’ve had them so close sometimes the scope won’t focus, also walking a hedgerow perfect for the low pigeon coming from the other side. Nothing wrong with a .22 rimfire. Having one dressed up in stupid clothes can also inspire the younger intake Edited 18 hours ago by eastcoast The rifle being dressed in stupid clothes, no me. That's why we bought a motorhome back at the start of COVID... anytime we feel like shooting off somewhere,we can take the dogs with us...saves me paying someone to house and dog sit for us or wasting money on jabs for kennels, there's normally a few of us with our kids, grandkids out most weekends

All jokes aside....you be better off looking at the Toyota RAV4 xt4 diesels, half that money, will outlast any Landover built after 98...and cheap for parts,I bought a whole truck that was running for £300 , engine and box straight out and into my 03 plate...only had to change it, because I let some monkey fit a clutch and new flywheel on the old lump....didn't bolt it back together tidy, and it went bang on the Mot ramp
