Working at a place just near Hylton Castle, it seems to be quite a bit of council housing but looks a nice place

My aunt and uncle still live in Hylton Castle,as you head south over the A19 bridge look left, that’s the village I was dragged up,the street is long since demolished and a decent’ish housing estate replaces what was once to be honest a slum area for dysfunctional families.

Big refurb this one, nearly 5000m2 of asbestos roof off, replace a lot of steel, and re roof the lot, few walls as well, some single ply flat roofing...another one to test your ability! Lol

Around 9 months work for us on the first phase...took my lad in today to help me chuck the ridge liner through...put 100m of membrane Valley gutter in yesterday and 100m of ridge today...back in the office tomorrow ..give the back a break! Lol

If anyone wants to graft and earn money then the works there.

Cost of living crisis is a lie for the vast majority of the population.

Been the same forever mate...

No doubt costs have gone up, fuel, electricity, gas plus interest rates effecting borrowing but not rewarding savers is a scam...

But rates are good, there's tons of work...the cottages have been booked flat out all summer, so still people spending....

I get bored easily so enjoy grafting one way or another, always at something mate, I like seeing others on here that are similar minded...

I'm bone idle me pal. Soon as I've got a couple hundred quid burning a hole in my shell suit pocket I just go off fishing or mooching. I've got very little work in me
