The Bible was probably used for absolutism in the past but I'm sure as a species we've evolved away from that .

Like I've said before I don't take the Bible literally , how easy is it to slightly alter a story for it to make sense ..

Say Noah and his ark for instance what's not to say he was a farmer during a rainy season and his farm was flooding and he prayed and then he decided to put his best breeding animals on a boat he built to escape that flood .. and over the years Chinese whispers and such it's been slightly exaggerated .

I'm a Christian but I also believe in science and evolution btw , lol

Species are evolving all the time , we can see it happening but that doesn't mean the base species wasn't created at one time so I don't think I go against genesis 1

Got to hand it to you Francie ,as religious types go your thesis is the most broad of any I’ve read .Your conviction to it is admirable too mate .
