It doesn't allways work that way though.

Remember the minority Tory Government in coalition with with the lib Dems, or Mays minority government with a support agreement with six DUP MP's ?

FPTP is what we've decided is democratic, and as Churchilll said " it's the least worst of all bad forms of governance".
