Any pie with mushy peas and gravy £4 or with a buttered muffin £4.30 , would you say that was a fair price ? We actually sold out by 12.30 dinner time , with customers complaining after queuing outside to not have any left unfortunately. Round by us everyone hiked the prices up and wonder why there not getting the customers through the door. Everyday we'd go for a butty or brekkie but now if you go for a butty and brew it's about a tenner most lads arnt wanting to spend a tenner plus a day just on a bse and a brew. A cafe near us used to do a brekkie n brew £6 was always full from min opened till closed now same brekkie n brew £14 and was complaining her custom has fallen by over half

There ain't many millionaires per square mile round ere as it's not a affluent area. So we try to keep the prices low and sell as many units as we can and give value for money to make it pay for us. A standard pie in our shop is £2.50 and a meat salad sarni £3.50 with generous portions . Our prices are comparable to other similar businesses locally .

Our area same but all jumped on the bandwagon when everyone did now wondering why their failing £3.50 is sound pal what it used to be like here all trade lads local factory lads would go now a large meat salad sarnie and not that generous portion little slice of meat mainly lettuce cost me £7.20 before went away said wunt be back. At least you get people don't have that sort of money to be spending everyday but like a butty and can of pop or brew for a 5er people do. Like I said I'd go everyday and buy either 3 breakfasts n 3 brews or 3 breakfast buttys n a pie a piece or something now lads fetch there own grub and will get a bigger drink at end of year

Put a pic of that up, mate. Sounds lovely. I love most fish dishes, especially seafood.
