A mate does a wicked terrine with bacon pheasant etc at least breast them off and give the dogs and ferrets the rest lol. I used to be able to swap two whole birds for an oven ready and take as many birds as I wanted , but most went to family and friends , the only pheasant I've enjoyed was a cream and wine sauce and probably most enjoyed the sauce.... 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah Walt she always wants the leg and thighs. I prefer them two but I don't mind the breast. As when I buy Chicken I cut them in half and cook just a half at a time. Freeze the other halt. Could eat that everyday … my palate or brain or both doesn’t like anything unfamiliar… thyme ,sage ,rosemary….
