FD they are Maris Piper Spuds I always use them. Rinse the chip to get some of the starch out of them. Boiled the chips for 2 minutes put them in a colander to dry some. In a deep fat fryer get the oil tp 140c then lower the basket of chips in, cook till just start to go brown/golden on edges then lift out.
