Don’t acquiesce so readily to his greengage suggestions when you initially brushed off my quince quite quickly,Ditch doesn’t even like fresh guac or olives.

Take it easy, Mack, like I said in my earlier post, I am willing to broaden my horizons, and have ordered a jar of quince marmalade/jam/conserve, or whatever it is!! Lol. Will report back as to how it tastes. Should be here by tomorrow evening, so Sunday more than likely lol.
jok 3,442
Just picked up on this. I have a quince tree in my garden and take the fruit each year. I make quince jelly which is absolutely lovely with game especially venison. It also makes a lovely gravy. Jok..

Cheers Arry Out with a skipper in Cornwall says the med octopus have decimated crab and lobster no amount caught since January ,now not allowed to return any octopus, another skipper had 7k of octopus in a day's fishing, he was complaining he'd not gotten a tuna quota, the guy I fished with did for the second time but he seems to have been heavily involved in getting it started in the first instance. He also said many will put the octopus invasion down to global warming but it occured in the 40's and before that in 1904 of something so it's a cycle. I referred to the great famines in Indo china from rats turned out they found a certain variety of bamboo fruits every 50years which coincided with the plagues....
