Mine work all winter and the only major issue was one being hit by a car.  Recon some of the  most robust I've owned. One jumped off a cliff and smashed her shoulder, collapsed lung etc earlier this year. Would have killed most but she's running again,  they're a tuff breed.

Well 1st winter done as she's come into season, it's a little earlier than I would like but maybe down to her having had an  easy week or so.  She's done OK up to here, bit head strong perhaps but I've had worse over the years. Her tally is less than I'd hoped but that's down to me rather than her as when she's had the opportunity she's done well. Hopefully next winter I can spend more time working the dogs than working myself. Think I've done my bit for everyone else over the last couple of years so gonna put some time into what I want for a few years from here in . 

It seems both bitches are once a year season types which is useful,  once a year is plenty and both break in the  spring  which would make rearing a litter easier if I ever decided to do so.

Managed to see a bit of variety  and pleasantly surprised at times with her power for such a small coursing specialist.  Lots of drive and natural  ability and a  lovely mix of speed/stamina so I'm looking forward to the autumn.

Ended up at a little over 24 inches and 20.7 kilos.

I may breed just to save the hassle of importing.  I'd use a Galgo over one of my bitches, if it ain't broke an all that.

When I had me big dog he used 2 run off from the fawn bitch when he was a pup and she used 2 bite his arse ,then when he was grown he was loads faster than her but he was convinced she could still catch him so he used 2 run wi his tail and arse tucked under himself effectively slowing him down and getting him bit on the arse  he were a prat
