Ya can’t beat a bit of game pie and vegetables on the plate,the wife puts all the meat on low in a slow cooker,rabbit,hare,pheasant,partridge,duck,wood pigeon and venison.Cooked for 10-12hrs then in the pie crust absolutely amazing

Not a fan of eating rabbit but that sounds pretty good.

Never liked the taste of brown hare though i found the blue hare better eating when roasted then put in a pie. A mate was in Harrods some years back and saw a saddle of hare on  sale .

Put the hare meat in water with some salt overnight to remove the strong taste, pasty and bean heathens
