One of my best mates is a Notts county fan and after three pints you can guarantee he’ll do that ducking stupid wheel barrow song.

I be said before that I don’t think many clubs in the world have the identity and tribalism that rangers Have .

I think this Is probably their best song . More than a chant things like this . It’s a totally unifying anthem .

I remember the brick chants mentioned and all the racist ones you black b*****d /trigger trigger trigger shoot that nigger ect i remember doing Newcastle in the mid eighties they had a big black lad up front Tony Cunningham he got sent of in the end and jumped on the fence screaming the abuse he got must of tipped him over the edge a unit of a lad as well he had the normal monkey noises and a few were chanting you have a nose like a shot gun and he's big he's black in plays in attack the sliver back Watford always got plenty of stick here with the amount of black players they had

Stood in the Stretford end, Arsenal in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and that song went up...first time I'd heard it, me and my brother were pissing ourselves....Still sing it on site now...lol

Your father washes elephants your mother is a whore.....lol

Can you remember the Anderson man united song?

we went to Malia I think for a weekend and a lad got on the plane with that top on .

15 lads from Manchester sang it every time he stood up .

wasn’t annoying at all and it’s totally ingrained in my head since ???

If a player was off form we often used to get a song going to gee them up one i liked was when Bobby Zamora was going through a lean spell....to the tune of That's Amore we would sing " When your sat in row Z and the ball hits your head thats Zamora "......he would look up and give us a smile, seemed to perk him up a bit as well.

Hibs are a catholic team from Leith Edinburgh. ( Glasgow Celtic's little brother), Rangers are protestant. Hibs don't win much so beating Rangers 3-2 in a cup final was very special. To add to the atmosphere there had been a pitch invasion and lots of mini punch ups before their celebratory anthem.

My Heart is Broken (Sunshine on Leith) is Hibs' theme song

Never quite understood all that Jock mentality of religion and football it always puts me in mind of school assembly....all a bit too staged and disciplined once you get passed your clubs iconic song footy chants should be about fun and piss take.

Its all a load of old bollocks mate....yes the good natured footie banter sing away till your hearts content big numbers small numbers it dont matter.....but start singing about something a little bit edgy and you see how many lads are willing to sing as loud and proud in small numbers as big ?....seen it hundred times even our little mob when the Icf chant go,s up a few of us look around knowing that shout would turn to a whisper if they was 5 strong instead of 500....its like them muggy Tommy Robinson marches how many of them lads giving it " Engerland " get back in the office on Monday morning and turn into tolerant normal nigel.....safety in numbers creates the " nasty tribe mentality " you talk about mate nothing more.
