They hold no control regarding the decision making, only the guiding of the ship in the direction that their masters permit. Some are in on the script, the likes of your Blair's and Obama's , that now grace the chamber's of the UN. But most are generally sincere civil servants, the true believers of the system, your Mays and your Boris's. Clueless and useless to act on their own merit and merely follow orders through email. You can talk all day about this politician and that politician but these are just the middle men between us the people, and the money men.
