Max can see them on his stall all lined up next to the brass nobs recon he,ll be the one to watch in a bidding war, though I think you,ll be alright if it’s collection only ?

Why not have open bidding

Personally I wouldn’t be selling this one or it’s smaller counterpart as part of a job lot, I don’t know why but there is something a bit different and interesting about this one and I reckon it’s the star of the show.

It reminds me of a certain style but I can’t recall what, have a look in Millers if you can get hold of one

It's a cracker and it's in my collection now Wilfy ?

Fair play, is it English, German or Eastern European Max ?

It is indeed a cracker and I can see why you would want the matching pair ?

Edited: Just seen this is the one you bought Max, fair play, I’d find out about it if I was you, let us know please because I’d be interested to see if it is anything

They will look nice enough in the cabinet Charts with the rest of my gear and brass cocks ?

I agree. If you paid a fair price and it's for your own enjoyment, great !

Ive allways liked them as a pair, standing on a fireplace .

Cheers.

Aye, but like most things if you sit and wait the buyer will come along.

Whatever, it’s a nice thing and there is a couple......I also just noticed a multi coloured small one in the background of one of those pictures and that looks interesting too.

He had a decent little parcel anyway mate.

Was clearing out some garages for a friend few yrs back and found a few of these old  whistles... Did some digging and I happen to have one of the very first prototypes... Marked and made in Barr Street Birmingham... Worth a couple of hundred apparently... Think I will hold on to it for abit longer... ? Screenshot_20200907-130522.png.b42ba05a7e85ba630a511f74c66a1960.png
