Where not talking about whippet greyhounds or beddy xs where talking about Wheaton and Bullxs against things quarter there weight, anyways if your happy with your dog that's all you need, me personally wouldn't keep a game bred dog that chokes game out, I don't go and use champion pitbulls, 2x winners to look for a 20+lb foxs kneck to choke him out or big rough Wheatons that are pulling every weekend. There bred off game dogs to be game defeats the purpose of the breeding in my eyes, even in the pitbull world they don't match till over 2 years might give them a 5 - 10 minute roll at 18 months and not something that's gonna break there heart either, and the boys that are rolling 12 month old pups don't have a clue and new in the game

I have hunting dogs mate I want them to kill out as fast as possibly with no arse end tearing what goods a game dog for say bambi nothing left to eat the c**ts eat it thereself lol

If I wanted a game dog I’d be working them into other game dogs not a 20lb fox ??

the lads I know used to be into it was rolling dogs 14 month game litter are killing each other month old lol

I don’t do a lot a fox now your at it aloe mate how many your dog normally see a season mate they lots about Ireland ??

9 hour round trip, collected my dog pup today. The fella is a gentleman, pot of tea and sandwiches waiting! Spent a good 2 hours talking! Cheers mate!

Dddc is right. A genuine man. Pups were finished well and well socialised. Offered us a pot of tea aswell. ? REBEL:

The wheaton cross isn't a new thing they've been about a long time.  Litter I had 25 years ago and they were about long before that.

I always told can’t teach old dog new tricks mate lol

how is a dog that has had 50 kills before 20 months not learning loads while the brain is learning at its fastest rate there taking everything on

I'm not saying that's a bad thing mc I like an early starter mesen but sometimes people Wright um off 2 early each dogs an individual if 1 starts at your chosen lark at 12 14 month fair play but if it teks 2 year does it matter you know your dog ,an it's different wi different work

You’ve got to judge on dog to dog basis , Iv had dogs keen catch and hunting at 12/14 months old and dogs later , same approach out from young watching and learning they enter when there ready but my arse does start to twitch if there’s no signs interest , dogs got to show me some form of interest before 2 , we all got different standards , I know boys with dogs I’d never own and there’s probably boys that would never own my dogs it is what it is no right or wrong way about it really

Go do your homework when it comes to game dogs, crottys Sam was gamest dog of 2020 broke the Irish record in he's show, we still have he's mother here crottys zara, game dogs is what I was raised with my mams side and my dad's side kept nothing but trial dogs, and most digging pups are trying to kill eachother after a month never mind pitbulls and how one dog is going to ruin a whole deer is beyond me or do your dogs like to change hold too? Anyways I'm off got dogs to walk, feed and clean and enjoy the nice day where lucky to have in Ireland, and tbh when I see your comment at having 12 week old pups out says how much you know who takes 12 week old pups hunting for the day all your doing is f***ing up there joints and when they get bit turning pups into wankers.. Good luck

I’m not saying you don’t know game dogs mate or fox in Ireland that’s why I’m asking lol ruin whole deer ruining  any is not what I want so dog the grabs shoulders then finishes neck perfect for me mate

so pups try killing each other as pups but a fox at 12 month will put it off ?

12 week pup on lead out every time I’m out mate jumping and dykes ditches big drains throw them in I want them running jumping swimming after whatever they chase like a natural it’s normal

you got a 20 month dog killed zilch I got one 20 month had 3 for every month born already lol been over 5 mins stuck on I got something to work with your fingers crossed next season

Pups out from 12 week doesn’t lead to injury mate not as much as taking a 20 month dog out for first time close your eyes first few runs lol

Thats a strange thing to say fenman, you wouldn't keep one that went for throat holds.

There's nothing I hate seeing more in a lurcher than a dog takin stick it doesn't need to, if they aren't getting the job done sharpesh and are trying to kill em with their first hold they're worse than useless in my eyes.
