Stavross 18,089
A trip to the sheep farm last night and an evening that didn’t start well, I’d arranged to meet up with my mate as we travel in separate cars ( social distancing and all that) I got to the place where I meet him and he wasn’t there, I waited 10 minutes and he still hadn’t turned up, so I thought I’d give him a ring, bugger, left my phone at home, so I waited. 20 minutes later he arrived with some excuse I wasn’t listening to, so we set off, 20 minutes later on the back roads to the farm he was no longer behind me, so I pulled over and give him a couple of minutes before turning round to go find him, he’d put the motor off the road smashing the passenger front wheel changed the wheel and got to the farm where it had started raining. We made our way to where we had seen the foxes through the thermal in the fog last week, within minutes we spotted one coming from the opposite direction from last week and into the wind, winding us it stopped and took off back the way it came from. Almost about to give up on this Friday the 13th when we spotted one coming through the hedge no more than 70 yards away, up on the sticks with the.223 and down it went. A small vixen, with the rain starting again and the wind blowing it into my pretty face I decided I’d had enough and it was home time, so not a complete disaster of a night, but not far off 4 Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,021
If it's one thing I hate its lateness that's why I'm glad I go out on my own mostly now. Used to get sick of picking people up only for them not to be ready Christ I am always really early for everything, too early actually. Sick of all this crap weather , foggy again as have got a rabbit Job to do on a new permission. 2 Quote Link to post
