You’d be saying f**k all of the kind of it was you who they were taking over

It is easy to be a charitable socialist with some one else's money.

There is a good drama on Netfkix

The English Game .

It might be about the stamp of it for everyone in a few years due to Corona.

Its the perfect storm for clubs to take a fair share of control back from players and agents .

If ALL clubs in Europe stuck together and agreed a 20k per week wage cap the game would be better for it.

Clubs could then compete on a more even keel ' owners would be able to possibly turn a profit which any business has a right too.

Add 10% of your basic for a win

10% for a clean sheet

10% if your team scores 3 or more.

Then you would see players trying if the max was 26k per week if you bust a gut and not 100k plus wether you can be bothered or not.

More fair for the fans that's for sure who pay good money to watch half hearted player

Fixed it max eh ?

So you’d destroy the entire football industry in order to let your team of constant failures compete at the top table ? No idea of hard work or achievement , just make it unfair to reward excellence

interesting

I think it will happen there's talk of poch as manager king kev as a club ambassador that itself will lift the place there already showing ambition about building  the team and academy there's also regenerating the area plans to I don't think they will struggle to bad getting top players in either look who kk managed to sign

If this deal goes through, and there is still plenty of time for Ashley to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory, and if I ignore the takeover from a moral and ethical point of view regarding Saudi human rights record (and I am),  I would not welcome the sacking of Steve Bruce. From and ethical and moral point of view but also potentially from a football point of view.

I was pissed off when Benitez left. I thought that he was good fit for the club. I had no opinion one way or the other on Bruce other than liking him when he played and have never seen a manager appearing so shell shocked  than when his Sunderland team were hammered 5-1 at St. James' and 50,000 of his own people joyfully singing that he was a "...fat makem b*****d". But that's football, that's derby games and that's history.

He has done nothing to warrant being sacked. If the situation that the world finds itself in had not came about I think most people other than his harshest critics would agree that he would have kept the club in the Premiership and probable mid table mediocrity which is best that we could have hoped for had Rafa remained. He would also have done so without the services of Rondon, another of Ashley's masterstrokes. He should be given a chance if the club is sold.

Of course a higher profile and better known manager may help in attracting high profile players and a wider worldwide support, if the club is sold and if they have genuine ambition. But, I have often wondered how much success in the modern game is down to the managerial brilliance of the "special ones" and how much is down to the quality of the players made available to them? I would like to see an English manager such as Bruce who has served his time and learned his trade try and take them on if given the same quality of players to work with and bring the best out of the ones that we already have.

It's only my opinion but this whole Corvid has told us all we need to know about 99% of Top Earming footballers.

The premier league players alone if they all just donated a one of Payment of 100k each would generate £50 million which would in turn of bought 5000 top end Ventilators which in turn over the next 2 years of Corvo would of saved 10-20 Thousand lives .

But let's be honest

They don't give a f**k and that goes for most top class sportsmen ' Actors whatever.

As usual it was left to the working class for the best part led by a 100 year old war veteran to get something done .

I read a article 3-4 weeks ago VB said she was humbled when she rang a hospital ward to offer the staff encouragement ?

Offer them a mill of your 230 mill fortune and save their lives and lives of patients from cross contamination. By buying them some PPE ffs instead of Furloughing 30 of your staff ffs

and you say ruin top flight football

Id say it's been ruined for a decade or more because of money and greed taking it away from the working class family .

But that depends on your personal view of what's right and what's wrong I suppose .

Why should footballers donate and who's to say there not and there's a lot not on any where near the money the top ones are for some that's a few months wages

So a premier league first team player 100k is a few months wages

give over.

Everyone of those could afford that.

Unless they irresponsible reckless secret gamblers they wouldn't even know it's missing from their bank accounts .

They could save life's en mass of citizens AND nurses but choose not to.

It took Jorden Henderson of Liverpool to try organise something between them and last figure I seen it was up to 4 mill the pack of selfish greedy c**ts.

They might think different if there mother or father was denied a respirator for being over 70 ?

4 million how do you get that figure max when man u players alone donated 3.5 million to the local nhs after defering 30 per cent of there monthly wages de gea made a separate donation of 270 thousand to a Spanish hospital you mention Henderson starting it of your right but what about Maguire who had has much in put you don't mention him or is it the same old Henderson played for us things again maybe we also mention the likes of that stoke lad who donated all that stuff to Ireland and there's plenty more have a look at England footballers foundation and you will see just how much charity work and donations they do make without wanting there's names made public its the likes of Branson ect or all theses mps with second home ect that we pay for that should do more

Plenty of footballers have done plenty . I dont get how you think you know what each individual players finances are and who has given/done anything . Or are you basing it on what is reported in the online news websites etc. Because not many of then care to much about what phil jones , ruben neves , kurt zouma get up to . Its not really news worthy.

The fat cat bankers,  politicians , high end business owners also should be your targets if your that way inclined .

But footballers are the first line of attack.  I hear people say messi/ronaldo not worth 400k a week. Depends on your view point.  If their bringing in 600k a week then they must be worth it .

As a seeker of truths and in order to establish some veracity of facts ,  yesterday I carried out a what’s app football questionnaire.
In order to maintain impartiality , I’ve awaited until the final results are in.... and it makes for interesting reading .
The conditions were set for a level playing field .reams of questions were filtered through however I decided on three questions alone to maintain ease of answer via the polling method of what’s app.
      1. Who in your opinion are the top 6 English football clubs regardless of league or current table position?
      2. Who would you say are the biggest English league side outwith big 6 ?
      3. Who is the bigger club Newcastle or Sunderland?
Answer in your opinion , no right or wrong .
Each question was asked individually, as in only when they Had responded to the first was the second sent and so on
the demographic was chosen with the following constraints
      1. No fans of either Sunderland or Newcastle were chosen to be questioned.
      2. I selected 20 people in order to make it a fair pool of people and to make % mathematics easier.
      3. All 20 lads are guys i have played football with or discussed football with at length.
      4. No members of the hunting life .
      5. 10 born and raised south of Birmingham . Including 2 welsh lads. 10 born north of Birmingham . Including 2 Scottish lads.
      6. All agreed to have the conversations and their findings included in the survey .
So with no further delay , is anyone interested in reading the results ?
Any ideas on how I could have set conditions to a fairer test?

Went to look at a house last week in which me and the missus fell in love with, we offered the asking price straight away and exchanged phone numbers with the couple.

They made it clear that they had a couple more viewings of the house and wanted to honour them. Come Tuesday morning I rang the estate agents at the crack of birdshit to get an update, they told me they were waiting on hearing off the other people first.

Come 11 I got a call and they told me someone had put in a bigger offer and they had accepted it. After falling in love with the house I wasn't happy about that so I put in a counter offer that was higher.

The estate agent got back to me saying that the couple was still sticking with that other offer and turned down our bigger offer. I asked what the fcuk for and the slag at the estate agents said had no answer and says they might have got a better vibe, wtf!

What pisses me off about the situation is the way they were when we viewed the house, I went with my newborn and missus and she loved it. The way they were, talking about this house being perfect for my new daughter to grow up in has really pissed me off.

I honestly feel like putting the fcuking Windows through and killing their cat hahahaha. I expect a phone call off the estate agent because the message I sent to the speccy eyed prick house owner is not pleasant to say the least. I hope the deal falls through and they end up living in a cardboard box the fcuking rats!!! ???
