LOL, I agree in principle but not quite willing to start labelling folks dossers and wasters. I just don't know enough to do that. We've all seen what we've seen though so I understand perfectly.

We have a society that through sympathy for the vulnerable seems to encourage adults who can't provide for themselves to breed more and discourages those that can from breeding at all! I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't help the vulnerable but we need to be careful that well meaning care doesn't actually become the cause of the problem.

I also don't understand why food banks are worse than social care from the Gov'. They're exactly the same really. Those that can, give to those that can't. Tax for social care is just state mandated charity. If people were starving at food banks I could understand but most folks just consider the existence of food banks abhorrent whereas they'd be perfectly happy if the Gov' were doing the exact same.

A certain % of the population could of always made use of food banks, they just wasn’t always available. Now they are a ‘thing’ demand has naturally increased.

Kept simple....to me thats just basic benefit fraud....which as far as im concerned is something this country needs to clamp right down on.

Complete wasters can be left to rot.....but most people who are just a bit lazy could quickly be put back on track by not having their substandard morals and values bolstered by the " poor little me " victim mentality our society currently encourages.

We need a fairer tax system, big business etc to pay they true dues,  but we all need to understand that tax means services and you get what you pay for.

I normally get a bollockin for saying it but i think as a nation we pay far too much benefit money to far too many people....a young lad i know just split with the mother of his kid and so naturally is paying his way etc.....apparently they dont even take the child payments out of a birds benefit money anymore ....they get both !!....not a bad little earner is it if the ol man earns decent money.

True that mate, I had to give up plastering a couple of years back as the old joints are getting pretty knackered, I am quite illiterate have a very colourful police record and a multitude of ailments, I should be pretty much unemployable, I signed on for an agency, done 3 months on the bin wagons then started doing some car part refinishing for someone, I have since separated from the agency and now have a small business finishing the parts myself have cut out all the middle men and before lockdown was getting back to a comfy place in life and just about to take on my first staff,  took me two years of graft but I’m back in an industry I never had a clue about before at the age of 57, so no excuse for a fit healthy strong young person
