Nuts and bolts

Recommended Posts

Looking to get a new screw together spade done for this season, just looking for ideas how to connect the two, iv got a lad waiting to do the work just need to get the bits for him.

I know it’s never gonna be as strong as a solid spade but seen as I’m paying for the work been done I want it as good as possible any ideas would be great and any pics to show the lad would be even better thanks

thanks

Will get a photo of mine it’s a screw together coupling like the kind on the small army shovels I bought mine from a nut and bolt shop cut it in two and welded each fitting to either end I put a bolt through it after to keep the handle and mouth inline or it can be a pain in the arse when it turns I think I had to sleeve it the get the couplings to fit still a good strong shovel you could do a a metre or two with

I know tony there spot on but the lads that busy he hasn’t got round to making mine yet, and don’t want to keep bugging him, so got a lad to try knock one up

I also ordered one from m, turns out making them takes about the same time as it takes Italian m (Michelangelo) to paint the Sistine chapel ceiling. Ended up making one with a tube that slips over the top, and hole drilled for a bolt and lock nut

Hello, would just like a few pointers from the more experienced members than me on the best way or their particular methods of breaking terriers to livestock? I have a relative that keeps poultry on an allotment that would let me take my pup through, but he’s 5 months now and like most working bred terriers he’s feisty and excited by fur and feather. I wouldn’t want any nasty mistakes to happen so any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello there. I have a jack Russell pup coming in the next few weeks when he is ready to leave his mother. He’s from working stock and I am hoping to try him out when he’s ready. I would just like to get some advice or pointers from people on here as to what sort of diet you think is best for working terriers? I Want to keep him in best condition I can, strong and healthy. All comments very much appreciated.
