If your living in the right area that's easy achievable with a half decent deer dog of any breeding, CWD are no big deal.

On arable land yeah any old lurcher can/should catch them,on flooded water meadow every day at them soon shows whats half decent of that i'll give you that joe, lol.

This lad was owned by a very good mate saw him take a good number of fallow

Saw a good few of this cross on deer, once they have a hold of them there not letting go ,this bitch was the same cross and she put a few away pre ban

The fastest of lurchers will be straight lined by a fallow at some point in their career if they run enough of them.

Nasty little feckers, they can cause some damage to an unsuspecting dog.

Mature Fallow bucks in the rut could be a challenge, they could get nasty and were quite capable off killing a dog.

I bet they were.what about red in the rut then would they be evan more  of a challenge being much bigger and armed with much pointer antlers

I never done enough reds to form a decent opinion, if I am honest I preferred fallow bucks to everything else I did though.
