Yesterday while on my 3 day first aid training course I had a seizure! ( it happened in the [BANNED TEXT] place St. John’s )

iv never had one before am 34 I can’t remember anything about it just been in ambulance on way to hospital, I feel ok now just a saw head and jaw think my head it concrete and I was grinning my teeth so that explains the jaw , just wondering if any one else has suffered from one? Am not allowed to drive until iv had further tests !

glad you ok mate, dont know enough about them , is it not getting blood quick enough to the brain or somthing like that .? But either way  you got to see your doctor about it, as regards if you drive a car, because if it happens agan  you could kill your self or sombody else  deff, get it checked right away, you prob end up with some tabs , or stop driving till it sorted  mate .

Not a bad place to take a fit.( first aid course) Best of luck with tests. Sometimes the worrying is more stressful than the underlying problem. Hope all goes well.

I know it's easy to say but, relax mate - you don't know what it was yet.

Everything from low blood sugar to core body temperature can cause a fit - let the doctors do their work.

......... I'll have a tenner on it being a freak event that won't happen again

Ps, good luck & atb with your new little'un.

Mate this happens to me around the same age, about 4-5 years ago. I had Dr's telling me I needed a pacemaker, sugar problems, circulatory issues, possible brain tumor etc ad infinitum. Man I was fully blacking out and shaking like a shitting dog on a regular basis, for about 2 months. In the metro, at work, in a bar. It was driving me nuts. No shit, I would come round with loads of people staring at me and being all British (stiff upper lip old boy an all that) I found it highly embarrassing. After 5-6 months it settled down, I started to notice the signs and fight the fuuck out of it, suddenly the attacks stopped.  I had the feeling, fight it and it wouldn't happen. Nowadays I rarely feel it.

Never got an answer as to rhyme or reason.

So don't worry.... I'm still here 4-5 years later
