The SNP lied just as much. Could not even get a straight answer o currency still can't.

You rabid nationalists always come out " I don't hate the English" and you also jizz you're drawers when you hear read English Welsh lads slate Scotland when you bring up the independence topic. Plays right into you're hands.

During the last referendum you're supporters followed opposition parties around the country and shouted them down. Tore down there campaign posters called no voters scum traitors etc etc.

Even to this day you c**ts still behave like scum. Local elections here few month back evey flyer from other parties were ripped down and Snp left up. Which in pretty sure is illegal but not a word condeming it from the high command. You are the most undemocratic party there is.

You bang on about Scotland were lied to and ignored.

We were told once in a lifetime but literally a day after the majority of Scots were ignored and calls of fixed ballot etc.

3days you lot were in George Square giving interviews to any news crew calling it was  rigged calling no voter's Scotland's shame. Waving flags saying it's not over blah blah blah. Not a word from Snp. Then the loyalists turned up and kicked you lot out oh in comes the SNP condeming the actions etc.

Didn't you have jobs to go to. No wait the biggest support of snp are c**ts on the social. Who think they are getting double dunt when they get independence lol

Have you're vote it will be another kick in the balls might be worth it to see the look on you're faces again. The unionists and loyalists will never support it to us you're just a shower of Fenian b*****ds lol

mistakes were made mate, got the oil predictions wrong, so did both sides.. ach, am no getting dragged into scotland  hates england, fenians, loyalists  crap, good and bad everywhere mate

i mind what salmond said, but i also remember all the no campains promises that helped people vote, for me thats alot worse than "once in a generation"  ;);)

we have a stronger campain comming this time, and a bigger support to start off with compared to 2012, bring it on

I want Scotland, I’ve said it before but between us we have punched well above our weight in the world for over 500 years. For all the craic and banter, I’d rather have blokes from Ulster, Scotla

You're not hardcore THL until you've had PM death threats!

I voted yes last time but voted out of the EU, so because the goal posts have been changed I'd be a hypocrite if I voted yes again. With the snp putting tax on beer an sugar and anything else we enjoy

You sure mate? Can you not be tempted by a move back? You can sit outside on your patio in the evening, with the Mrs? Kids can run around and have fun. Wonderful times.

Mate, I just see it as living in exile until my country and nation regains it’s senses.

I was wondering (and hoping) today if I will live to see my country restored again and this perversion of that great nation we are living through consigned to nothing more than a bad, bad memory.

It makes me very sad (genuinely) to think about it.

Fair comment, sir. I feel I will remain in the colonies to my dying day. I certainly don't share your optimism for the regime although don't confuse my lack of f*cks for the government for a disdain for the old country. I love the country but I cannot stand what they've done with the place.

How dare sturgeon and her lackies destroy the kinship of the border which for 400 years has seen more  interchangeable genealogy than probably anywhere else in the world.

I’m from bang on the border.

We’re not English , we’re not Scottish, we’re borderers.

Its a people that have a history, an identity, a common outlook

how can some 19 year old with a Glasgow birth certificate who’s patents arrived in the 80s from wherever  have a say over me ?

I have nearly 300 years of traceable lineage from north of the wall, my mam was born in Scotland to a Scottish mother  , my dad in carlisle to Scots parents ,

my wife’s father was Scottish .

How dare they !

And that mate is the crux of it, you can’t be an independent country in the EU......just can’t

Can a country ever be truly independent.... :whistling:

Every time you join an organisation, ratify a trade agreement etc etc you are ceding sovereignty. The simple act of 'union' (in whatever form) can be beneficial, some more so than others. I think this tends to be oversimplified with one liner arguments. For whatever reason they want union with the EU and independence from the UK. The value of each union is really in the detail rather than such simple things as "we want independence". Even if they wanted part of neither, they'd still want to be part of other arguably less authoritative 'unions' like WTO, NATO, bilateral trade agreements etc. They're all unions in one form or another and all restrict the sovereignty of a state.

Can't believe I just got involved in this thread.
