Does anyone know if any of those (alsation crosses) did any good as workers??

Back. Then the alsation xs Hancock bred were fine mentally and physically he was advised to cut the breedin dead by none other than d b p it was fecking rediciouless the alsation he used wax on a chain on his yard guard dog  bat tans fetched one I believe. But he was not the only one  my shep line came from that yard bought wrong with him catch anything yas showed him there will be lots a ypungsters that don't know of the bull shit that came from a certain fella. What could we have seen with the input that went in to the collie lines if he had had a mind of his own Hancock that his and he had gone down the alsation route.

 

 Some right fecking pricks been around that yard and seems like there still his and da what it's worth lots    Collies             on the moors etc some have alsation blood added fact.atbbill

ive seen that guard dog Hancock used.It got loose when i was there i stayed in the kitchen till it was caught up lol.

 thing is Bill, Hancocks are in it to make money and allways were. I very much doubt that they would still be in business if they had gone down the G/S grey route. I don't doubt though that he might have bred some good or better all round working/mouching dogs.

To be fair that animal very similar to my jukel but mine was a black saddled brindle and lots stronger. I don't suppose they fa everyone but they have a unique skill that seems  to be a strong trait in them.atb bill

That male I had was bred down from one those he bred ,he could catch anything he was all alsation grey  that animal on that pic his very alsation type ,in fact I seen a few of the xs and that animal on the pic carrying more alsation than any I seen coincidence who knows pics work in all manner of ways there was far more ty of the xs going penkridge market  no pics a them and for a avid photographer I found that odd. We noir looks a nice animal but likes most things with livestock when's ya don't knows ya don't knows.that animal has the phenotype of a range alsation  a lot like a reverse. But even so right handler right job for it results could be achieved .one really does need to have the knowledge how alsation types gallop, before one has a notion on a pic.atbbill

Looks the spit of a bitch my old mate had a good 15 yr ago....  Could shift and clever with it, White working shepard bitch but to a saluki grey dog called spring...... We put a merlin /eve bred dog called scout over her.....belonged to a wanker on here... Pups were 1/4 gsd all white or red with feathered ears few had wooly coats all made 25/26'' plus.....a few were sold, the ones we kept back were later stolen at around 9/10 months old and passed  on probably without the mention of gsd blood along with pups from another bitches litter to the same sire and another lads deerhound x dog.....shame we never got to see them mature..... No doubt plenty has been dragged from them since...... And folks sold a dream

I dont get how any one could steal some blokes dogs they put nowt into em just take um from some poor blokes yard then god knows what 

I just do know how them could do it the want them knackers lump hammering for a week or so
