Yes pal one that related to yours. Broken stopper pad bone. Said he won’t come back from it he’s finished. Happened months ago n healed but has started limping. Guna take vets tomorrow for X-rays just to make sure but I’m certain he’s done.

Thats real bad for a young dog.

Sometimes when you think the worst they surprise you and bounce back to normal fast.good luck.

I know Iv done some research after what meek said. He’s had a very hard season ran on some real tough ground and had some bad knocks but always bounced straight back. Iv seen the dog do triple somersaults over dykes n down cliffs n thought he was a tough dog. Obvs not. See what vets say tomorrow. Cheers ?

meek does know his stuff i agree....but,he told me mine could be finished ,with a hock injury ,but pulled through,

so you are doing the right thing getting an X-ray. it may be treatable

Had x rays today vets say they can’t see anything wrong with it apart from inflamed tissue. Possible there may be foreign bodies in the wrist where he had a cut. But they sending x rays off to specialists to have a look so they will let me know within a week if they find anything and take it from there.

If the stopper bone is broken it can be serious though

Yer that’s what meek said but vets reckon no break. But I don’t trust there judgement. As they missed stuff before. Hopefully specialist should shed more light on it.
