Good quality down sleeping bag (buy one that goes way lower than you expect to camp in), goretex bivvy bag, thermarest prolite or equivalent, decent head torch and the thing I really valued was a water filter, can't remember the name but it was a little tube that screwed onto top of a standard water bottle.
