Being a former Eastender I was brought up on Pie and Mash and a lot of the shops don't exist any more only a few reasonable imitations for one a Pie shop should have marble tables tiled walls and only sell Pie mash and Eels not sandwiches burgers or any side lines.

 

And as for the sauce lol it's known as Liquor and it's the Juice from the eels.

 

When you've eaten Pie and Mash it gives you a feeling of satisfaction that you can take on just about anything.

 

Most I done in one sitting was five pies and five Mash bird behind the ramp was amazed and called me a greedy b*****d that was Pattersons in Chrisp Street Market in Poplar Pie and Mash officinados will know it.
