Greyman 32,113 Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 Don't no if this is just a local issue to me but I don't seem to be able to pop out for a quick walk with my dogs without coming home and having to remove ticks from them, I have had many more and some of the biggest ticks I,ve ever seen this year and not just a few but fecking loads, any one else having this or is it just me ? Last year in March I moved into this house & by April my dog was getting covered in them from the garden, up to this point he had rarely had one. I knew I needed something good, because he's outside all day on grass, so looked into one of these collars, it was 40 euros, but money well spent! The terrier had the collar on all of the summer of last year & I removed it in late Autumn for work. NEWKID 28,913 Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 Nightmare year for ticks and fleas, I took a tick off my daughter a few weeks back. Lots of deer, plus horses, sheep etc right out of our back door so not an easy one. Dogs are being treated monthly and flea/tick washed as well.... be glad of a cold snap.
