Nik_B 3,791
I was watching a programme about arson and police forensic scientists how they work it out I was thinking about drilling a small hole in a light bulb a few syringes of petrol in there put it back in the light then when they switch it on boom my son reckons it wont work why no ? or would it ? I'm sure you need a naked flame to ignite the vapour so it shouldn't work. You can doubt fags in petrol.and the end is red hot. But it won't it ignite the petrol. Yes but petrol is volatile so surely it would evaporate? I think it might work
Nik_B 3,791
MI5 couldn't find their arse with both hands... They don't need to, they have software, computers and algos that do it all for them
Nik_B 3,791
Open up a shotgun cartridge instead of petrol We did that as kids (when you could do such things without going to prison lol) I was very disappointed that I couldn't make a small explosion. We've got to hand it to those terrorist chaps, they must have some skill P.s the world of shit I got in to when a neighbour told my old man he's found empty cartridges in the street was quite severe P.P.S it didn't put us off though, a few years later we burned down our next door neighbours shed P.P.S ironically my folks sold up and moved next door to that very house and are now having the shed knocked down for a greenhouse.....as I was reminded tonight "The one you tried to burn down"
ryaldinhio 5,132
Old school that. You heat up the bulb and remove the glass from the metal end including the element. Pour a small amount of petrol in, the element does not want to be in the liquid. Glue the bulb back together hey presto. Retains the seal so the petrol cannot evaporate and disappear. Not that Ive ever tried it in the front room or owt. Used to be a site when I was a kid called jolly roger had all this type of shite on. Cant believe it wasnt shut down to be fair. Had allsorts on it. Might still be runin but Im too square laced now to google it, everything is traceable and monitored nowadays.

ginger beard 4,653
last week a man put his gas bbq in his van ready for the bank holiday break.he never turned the gas fully off,so when he opened the door in the morning the courtesy light came on ignited the gas and up it went. Isnt it a cup full of sugar in microwave will take half a house out and be untraceable? Seem to remember that from somewhere.
