With stuff like this you have to take it with a bit of a pinch of salt since 'intelligence' people don't always tell the truth, he previous denied Ukraine was a CIA coup and recently admitted it but it's well worth listening to anything he says.

 

The short version is that the last time so many regional crisis's were interacting like this was just before WW2

If anyone watches that I'd be interested to know what you think, especially the OP Bird. The world has felt very unstable to me for the last few years which is why I got so interested in what was going on especially in Ukraine and Syria.

He did that video at least a year ago and there are videos of his from 6+ years ago that predict that Europe is in decline, Russia and China are becoming weak, the growing nations are Poland, Turkey and that Japan was a bigger power than China. For us Europeans that is very worrying, he thinks Germany is declining (I agree) a post Brexit UK will align with the US (My belief) and that the EU is tearing itself apart (Agreed). Poland is a new power in Europe which I also agree with.

 

I don't agree with everything he says, he is clearly pro west and pro USA but his ideas show the thinking of future America and future World which is why you should always listen to people who don't always agree with your point of view.

 

I think we are close to reliving the 1930s, where everyone is weak yet everyone is acting like they're far stronger than they are. Some like to say that increased dependence between nations avoids war but WW1 occurred between very inter-dependent nations, also the 1930s analogy make some sense in that there is a big rise in nationalism and socialism/communism and centre politics is disappearing.

 

If you are interested in what he thinks you can google him on youtube, I like to read as much as I can to get a broad idea of what everyone thinks though

P.s the major issue is that everyone is very weak, therefore they're acting strong and because of that a misunderstanding could easily happen....I think everyone would agree with that. Russia is the biggest issue, they're boxed in to a corner and being treated like the evil baddies and that is what worries me most.

Yes it was very pro America, but regardless of that, it did make me think. There were a few things I hadn't thought of or knew, for example.....China's naval shortcomings?
