Maybe if there was not such a healthy population of moose elk and deer they would not be so many wolves...........nature will sort nature better than man ever has Hunters crying about wolves taking their trophies..........
greenshank1 407
Similar story in Norway . The main objection was they scatter the Moose and kill Moose hunters dogs. Moose hunting is a national pastime / obsession. It's a fantastic country with amazing hunting culture and traditions. You can buy gill nets and otter boards at the check out in shops. I was there in May and they shot a wolf just up the road from where we were staying . Even in Norway with its amazing space and forest cover there are tensions with large predators. Made me realise Scotland is far too small and over crowded for wolves.

hollands hope 1,024
Just heard a wolf was killed , 10 miles from my village (roadkill) third sighting in two years time in my area . http://www.rtvdrenthe.nl/nieuws/119223/Wolf-doodgereden-op-A28-bij-Veeningen
delswal 3,819
More people get killed from domestic dogs than Wolves. Wolves may well kill to protect themselves or for food whereas dogs kill from poor upbringings and bad owners, all in all I think folk have more to worry about with their neighbours dog's than they have Wolves. Natures killers or man reared killers, which pose the bigger threat to people

Jonjon79 13,360
Good article For me, I'd love to live somewhere that picturesque. Their way of life sounds fantastic. If I was in their shoes - a couple of wolves circling the house, posing a threat to the kids or the dogs, damn right I'd shoot them.
