Couldnt agree more its about the strength of the human body not the size i wouldnt mind betting im stronger across the chest and shoulders than some of them lads but legs/lower back the weights they shift would kill me ......another 2 or 3 stone surrounding my hips and they become very different lifts so who are we really kidding.........Juoko Ahola could deadlift 3 and a half times his bodyweight......you cant tell me Brian Shaw deadlifting twice his bodyweight is a stronger human being just because he is 10 stone heavier !!.......thats the reality Ahola who for me was one of the strongest men who ever lived couldnt even compete with these giants today. People on the dole cant afford 10,000 calories per day...........ask any pure strength athlete what the hardest task they have to dedicate themselves to on a daily basis is and they will all say eating not training. gnasher16 31,261
You'll only be stronger if you're a power lifter knash. I bet they can press a fair bit. I competed for a few years but at much lower bodyweight than today only the bench press really suited me....in the old days when the overhead press was an Olympic lift id of cleaned up but it was such an easy movement to cheat on they did away with it...... even today im rarely outlifted on a strict military press some lifts just fit you.....and some dont.
