The Next Big Shock....what Do You Think?

Recommended Posts

I love prediction time....

'The right' have their best chance in Austria (election early December), and with Geert Wilders in Holland next year. Both have said they will hold EU exit referenda, if they win - but even coming a good second will increase the pressure in both countries.

In France, Marine le Pen will be beaten by coalition's and tactical voting, but will also strengthen her position, and force the French government to re-examine the future of the EU, especially it's policies on immigration.

Similar in Germany, too, I reckon. Merkel should hold on, but her power base will be greatly eroded by AfD.

The Greek, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese economies are still tethering on the brink, and the wider EU economy will have even larger holes to plug, once we leave.

On the whole, the future does not look bright for the EU - the house of cards is tottering, and only major policy changes will prevent it's complete collapse !

There won't be a policy change mate, they are fanatics and it's worth too much to all of "them"........they will make people suffer instead......much easier ;)

I think the next big shock will be one of the coursing lads admitting his dog can't do 3 out of 3 .... I know I know it's far fetched but I've got a feeling .......

They will be bringing everything they have at their disposal to prevent any type of Brexit / Trump scenario on mainland Europe.......it's not going to be pretty

Are you having a giraffe?   The German public are taking to the streets to provide vigilante escorts to locals to prevent crime by immigrants, they've built a massive wall around the migrant camp in

i wouldnt be suprized when merkel goes germany jump ship and come out of the eu/

I'm not sure Germany is feeling enough pain to bring in huge changes, they've done pretty well during the Euro crisis as their manufacturing benefits from the low value of the Euro. The AFD doesn't seem to have the support compared to Wilders, 5 Star and the FN

Having said that Merkel is finished, I'm looking forward to seeing her dejected face :D

Fun times are ahead ha ha!

The German public are taking to the streets to provide vigilante escorts to locals to prevent crime by immigrants, they've built a massive wall around the migrant camp in Munich (not exactly an out of the way hush hush town) and along with France, they are the ones holding up the european economy now we've dropped out. On the contrary I expect to see huge changes in Germany in the next few years.

What I mean is the AFD is still only polling 15%. Like in the UK GE UKIP wasn't polling high enough to really challenge either of the big two parties. We're at a point where people need to grow some balls and vote for something totally different. In the run up to elections all accross Europe the career politicians will start offering the odd thing here and there like Dodgy Dave did....loads of people will end up voting for the same old BS and nothing will change.

If the Germans vote for Merkel's Christian Democrats (Ha ha ha the name! should read Muslim Democrats) or the Social Democrats then they should be surprised when nothing changes. What is needed now is so very very radical thinking, the Kind that Wilders and Le Pen will come up with.

Collapse of the EU or another banking crisis, and in the slightly longer term, revolution in Saudi Arabia.

The EU is dead, the Euro is close to collapse.....Saudi...well that comes down to Trump, I suspect he will allow them to survive once they reign in the ISIS AQ terrorists but that's going to be very interesting :) Syria is coming to an end, OPEC did a 'deal' just imagine what's going on under the table....juicy!
