earth-thrower 494
156 the job would not have taken so long but half way through he decided to have more fields done, A fair haul, there,....they must have been happy, with the price, then ?,....(its not a 'competition', regarding how long, it takes,...mind ?,.....ha ha) Quote Link to post
Pirate 9000 676
Yes he was happy with the price, the mistake some pest controllers make is not charging enough to do the job properly that's when you get unhappy customers bad for business if they don't want to pay what I think job will cost I would rather walk away. 1 Quote Link to post

earth-thrower 494
Good to see lads charging a realistic price for their services.... Mole catching is not some long lost art,..of course not, but, it does require a particular knack and a sympathetic feel for the job...so,...trappers , whilst understanding the market and not demanding a fee that is simply not practical,.. , should always strive to price themselves sensibly... After all,.we are professionals... I have been extremely fortunate,...(lucky perhaps),...and I am now, fully booked,.. until the end of February.. I cannot take on any more trapping jobs,..and more work is coming in every day.... Best wishes to all my fellow trappers,.it is going to be a bumper year Not bad,.. for an old 'rabbit catcher' ! lol Quote Link to post
myersbg 1,385
i was asked this week to price a rabbit job in a garden, they had a price from rentokill, my price was £150 for half a days work, you can all have a guess how much the big boys were wanting. Quote Link to post

mackem 28,567
I'd actually be very interested to know As regards to Mole jobs I know and have been told by them doing it I am losing work to a guy who is happy to trap moles for a few bottles of beer Infuriating Is he as good as you though?True story,i went with a mate to a decent sized detached house near guildford a few years ago, couple of buckets, plastic ones, upturned on the front lawn, lift a bucket up and you see a mole trap set in moleys tunnel, the homeowner, who certainly isnt short of cash to put it mildly, had molehills on his lawn and a "Bloke down the pub" had offered to rid the garden of them.
