sandymere 8,263
When he was younger he used to run them himself, 25 miles an hour up hill and down dale, alas he's getting a little too chubby to maintain the pace these days hence the need for invention . 1 Quote Link to post

billhardy 2,343
So do you guys think that jogging a dog at a steady 20 miles an hour over x amount of miles is going to be bad for the dog or good for it ??? And do you think that fartlek training at set speeds o we set distances is also bad or good for the dogs ??? .......When I used to jog dogs I found a steady 9 miles an hour the perfect speed to keep dogs at a good trot. Use to start off at 3 mile per night and work my way up to 12 mile over 5/6 weeks Never needed no contraptions though just told my dogs to "heel" and they would sit under my wing mirror where I could see them. Atb. . This the thing speed trott them at twelve , twenty mile an hr far two fast nine also good it's all about time and distance try em at twelve over seven miles it takes there edge from em . High drive types do tend to relish and race the motor we sit in back a truck leads on looking for the slightest sign of distress not possible when driving watching a camera at same time get a bike and blow the cob webs of socks. Lol atbbunnys. Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,945
Ok taking the piss but some daft c**t did that down here a year or two back. Stopped in a layby and hitched the dog to the bumper. Forgot and set off, was seen a few miles down the road burying the poor fuvking dog. Sad but true. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
slip lead 862
Don't know if it was the same person, but a woman a few years back done the same after walking her dogs, she tied them to motor to change Her boots got in the car a drove off, killing both dogs Quote Link to post
